Earlier today, the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation along with the Timmins and District Hospital publicly launched the biggest fundraising initiative in its history.
The 30-million-dollar fundraising campaign will support the local share of the new emergency department redevelopment project while including some of the most critical needs of the hospital such as a new MRI, CT scan and nuclear medicine machine. Our emergency department was built for 20,000 visits per year and regularly sees more than 43,000! The new ED will feature a specialized trauma room, unique treatment areas, private rooms and will have double the clinical space!

Plus tôt aujourd'hui, la Fondation de l'Hôpital de Timmins et du district, en collaboration avec l'Hôpital de Timmins et du district, a lancé publiquement la plus importante campagne de financement de son histoire.
Cette campagne de financement de 30 millions de dollars permettra de couvrir la part locale du réaménagement du nouveau projet service des urgences, tout en répondant à certains besoins essentiels de l'hôpital, comme l'acquisition d'un nouvel appareil d'IRM, d'un tomodensitomètre (TDM) et d'un appareil de médecine nucléaire. Notre service des urgences a été conçu pour 20 000 visites par année et en accueille régulièrement plus de 43 000 ! Le nouveau service des urgences comprendra une salle de traumatologie spécialisée, des zones de traitement uniques, des chambres privées et offrira une surface clinique deux fois plus grande!
