Timmins and District Hospital serves more than 110,000 residents across the northeast, including remote and fly-in areas of Northern Ontario. This isn’t just a local hospital; it’s a regional health care hub relied on by many. This $101 million transformation will more than double the space to 27,000 square feet, adding specialized trauma rooms, private treatment areas, and culturally-safe spaces – ensuring modern, efficient care for every patient.

L'hôpital de Timmins et du district dessert plus de 110 000 habitants du nord de l'Ontario, y compris y compris des régions éloignées et accessibles par avion. Il ne s’agit pas simplement d’un hôpital local, mais d’un véritable centre régional de soins de santé sur lequel comptent de nombreuses collectivités. Cette transformation de 101 millions de dollars permettra de plus que doubler la superficie du service, qui atteindra 27 000 pieds carrés, grâce à l’ajout de salles de traumatologie dédiées aux soins intensifs, d’aires de traitement privées et d’espaces culturellement sécurisants, afin d’offrir des soins modernes, efficaces et adaptés à chaque patient.
