What an incredible day—and an incredible result!
The Timmins Ladies Golf for BWC (Breast Wellness Centre) Invitational Tournament has proudly presented $45,227 to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation in support of the Breast Wellness Centre at Timmins and District Hospital.
This amazing achievement is only possible because of the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, donors and local businesses who continue to rally behind women's healthcare in our community.
As outgoing Chair Sally Edgell-Luxmore shared: “People often ask how an event of this size comes together. The best way to describe it is as the biggest puzzle we've ever assembled. Every sponsor, volunteer, donor and participant represents an essential piece. Without each one of those pieces, the picture simply wouldn't be complete."
A special thank you also goes to the Kin Club of Timmins for their ongoing partnership in supporting the tournament raffles year after year.
To everyone who contributed, volunteered, sponsored, donated or teed off for us—thank you. Because of you, many people across northeastern Ontario will continue to benefit from exceptional breast health services.

Quelle journée incroyable et quel résultat exceptionnel!
Le tournoi de golf des femmes de Timmins, ont organisés dans le cadre du programme BWC (Centre de bien-être du sein), elles ont fièrement remis 45 227 $ à la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district afin de soutenir le Centre de bien-être du sein de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district.
Ce formidable succès est rendu possible grâce à la générosité de nos commanditaires, bénévoles, golfeuses, donateurs et entreprises locales qui continuent de se mobiliser pour la santé des femmes dans notre communauté.
Comme l’a souligné la présidente sortante, Sally Edgell-Luxmore : « On nous demande souvent comment un événement de cette envergure est possible. Le mieux est de le comparer au plus grand puzzle que nous ayons jamais assemblé. Chaque commanditaire, bénévole, donateur et participant représente une pièce essentielle. Sans chacune d’entre elles, le tableau serait incomplet.»
Un merci tout spécial est également adressé au Kin Club de Timmins pour son partenariat continu et son soutien aux tirages du tournoi, année après année.
À tous ceux qui ont contribué, fait du bénévolat, parrainé, donné ou joué au golf pour nous – merci. Grâce à vous, de nombreuses personnes du nord-est de l'Ontario continueront de bénéficier de services exceptionnels en santé du sein.
