Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) is the largest low-carbon power producer in Ontario. Some key values are to support communities, protect the environment, and maintain public safety. Much of this work is done through the “The Power for Change Project”. From this project, $25,000 has been donated to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation’s Reimagining Healthcare campaign.
Senior Communications Advisor Kate Cantin explains, “the Power for Change project supports more than 100 not-for-profit, grassroots initiatives and events across Northeastern Ontario every year. OPG recognizes the important of regional hospitals like TADH which support multiple communities, reduce medical travel, and enhance the standard of living in Northeastern Ontario”.

La campagne de financement de 30 millions de dollars de la Fondation de l'Hôpital de Timmins et du district est lancée! Pour en savoir plus : reimagine.tadhfoundation.com/.
Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) est le plus important producteur d’électricité à faibles émissions de carbone en Ontario. Parmi ses valeurs fondamentales figurent le soutien aux collectivités, la protection de l’environnement et la sécurité publique. Une grande partie de ce travail est réalisée dans le cadre du projet « La force du changement ». Grâce à ce projet, 25 000 $ ont été versés à la campagne « Repenser les soins de santé » de la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district.
Kate Cantin, conseillère principale en communications, explique : « Le projet “La force du changement” soutient chaque année plus de 100 initiatives et événements communautaires à but non lucratif dans le Nord-Est de l’Ontario. OPG reconnaît l’importance des hôpitaux régionaux comme l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district, qui desservent de nombreuses collectivités, réduisent les déplacements pour raisons médicales et améliorent la qualité de vie dans le Nord-Est de l’Ontario. »
