We are the Timmins And District Hospital Foundation
Since Timmins and District Hospital opened its doors in 1993 we have provided care to over 3 million patients. From the James Bay coast to Englehart, from Hearst to Kirkland Lake, TADH is here to care for you, your family and neighbours.

For more than 30 years, the Emergency Department has served as a lifeline for our community. Built to support 20,000 visits per year, it now sees more than 43,000 patients annually. As the regional health care hub for 11 small-hospital communities, including remote and fly-in areas, our Emergency Department has been operating beyond capacity for years. This project will expand and modernize the Emergency Department, creating a space designed for today’s realities and tomorrow’s needs.

Depuis plus de 30 ans, le service des urgences est essentiel à notre communauté. Conçu pour accueillir 20 000 visites par année, il reçoit aujourd'hui plus de 43 000 patients annuellement. Centre de soins de santé régional desservant 11 petites communautés hospitalières, y compris des régions éloignées et accessibles uniquement par avion, notre service des urgences fonctionne à pleine capacité depuis des années. Ce projet permettra d'agrandir et de moderniser le service des urgences, en créant un espace adapté aux réalités d'aujourd'hui et aux besoins de demain.
