Since Timmins and District Hospital opened its doors in 1993 we have provided care to over 3 million patients. From the James Bay coast to Englehart, from Hearst to Kirkland Lake, TADH is here to care for you, your family and neighbours.

Formerly known as The Music Box Furniture Gallery, the business traces its roots back to 1947 when Lou Vacchino founded The Music Box. What began as a music store evolved over the years with the addition of a furniture gallery before eventually becoming The Brick. Throughout its evolution, the business has remained locally owned and family-operated.
The Brick also values community involvement and has long been a supporter of the Timmins and District Hospital. With the recent launch of the hospital foundation’s REIMAGINING HEALTHCARE campaign, The Brick has continued to demonstrate that support with a donation of $10,000.
“A donation to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation is an investment in the health and wellness of our community. We are fortunate to have a hospital with the medical equipment and healthcare professionals needed to provide services and care throughout the Northeast region. Maintaining and improving the facility and equipment will ensure continued access to quality healthcare for all of us,” explained Store Manager Linda Pasi.
Thanks to community-minded companies such as The Brick, our hospital is able to continue making meaningful progress in the care it provides. Our region depends on this kind of support to keep healthcare in the northeast.

Anciennement connue sous le nom de « The Music Box Furniture Gallery », l’entreprise remonte à 1947, année où Lou Vacchino a fondé « The Music Box ». Ce qui était au départ un magasin de musique a évolué au fil des ans avec l’ajout d’une galerie de meubles, avant de devenir finalement « The Brick ». Tout au long de son évolution, l’entreprise est restée une entreprise locale et familiale.
The Brick accorde également une grande importance à l’engagement communautaire et soutient depuis longtemps l’hôpital de Timmins et du district. À l’occasion du récent lancement de la campagne « RÉIMAGINONS LES SOINS DE SANTé » de la fondation de l’hôpital, The Brick a réitéré son soutien par un don de 10 000 $.
« Un don à la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district est un investissement dans la santé et le bien-être de notre communauté. Nous avons la chance de disposer d’un hôpital doté de l’équipement médical et des professionnels de la santé nécessaires pour offrir des services et des soins dans toute la région du Nord-Est. L’entretien et l’amélioration des installations et de l’équipement garantiront à chacun d’entre nous un accès continu à des soins de santé de qualité », a expliqué Linda Pasi, gérante du magasin.
Grâce à des entreprises soucieuses de leur communauté, comme The Brick, notre hôpital peut continuer à réaliser des progrès significatifs dans les soins qu’il dispense. Notre région compte sur ce genre de soutien pour maintenir les services de santé dans le Nord-Est.
