Your Foundation

The Timmins and District Hospital Foundation has been formed to support Timmins and District Hospital by raising funds for medical equipment and infrastructure renewal beyond funding available from government sources.

We inspire community support by prioritizing donor relationships, transparency, and efficient fund use. Since 1990, we have contributed over $55 million to enhance specialized care.

TADHF recognizes that it operates on the traditional lands of the Mattagami, Flying Post, and Matachewan First Nations, home to various Indigenous groups, including Ojibway, Cree, Oji-Cree, Algonquin, and Métis people. It is in Treaty 9 territory, which has a deep Indigenous history. This acknowledgment is a respectful first step in recognizing the long history and living culture of First Peoples, honouring both past and present Elders.
